Timothée Chalamet and Robert Pattinson go head-to-head in Netflix’s forthcoming historical epic, The King.

In the film, based on stories previously told by William Shakespeare and Orson Welles, Chalamet stars as King Henry V, a reluctant monarch who steps up to the throne after his father (Ben Mendelsohn) dies. That includes inheriting the war, chaos and political conflicts his father left behind, as well as battling Pattinson’s Dauphin of France.

The tense new trailer showcases the upcoming showdown while offering a better look at Pattison’s French accent and long blonde hair. The film, directed by David Michôd, also stars Sean Harris as William Gascoigne, Lily-Rose Depp as Catherine, and Joel Edgerton.

The King is now playing in select theaters and reigns over Netflix on Nov. 1.
