Things are not what they seem in season two of Hulu’s dark comedy Shut Eye about the organized crime ring around psychic storefronts in Los Angeles.
Former magician Charlie Haverford (Jeffrey Donovan) continues to question everything he believes after a blow to the head. It doesn’t help that he thinks he accidentally runs over his son, only to get out of the car and discover it’s a dummy in Hulu’s teaser.
According to the streamer, season two finds Charlie and Linda (KaDee Strickland) facing an uncertain future, and now more than ever needing to completely trust one another—something that’s never been easy for these two unrelenting con-artists. Meanwhile, the Marks family faces similar uncertainty as their home has quite literally been taken from them. This season everyone struggles to find their true “home.”
Shut Eye also stars Isabella Rossellini, Susan Misner, Angus Sampson, David Zayas, Dylan Schmid and Havana Guppy.
It is executive produced by Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, and showrunner John Shiban, and created by and executive produced by Les Bohem.
Shut Eye is produced by TriStar Television and premieres December 6 on Hulu.
