TBS set a premiere date and dropped a promo for the return of family comedy The Detour, which is created, written and executive produced by Jason Jones and Samantha Bee.

Season three finds the Parkers on the lam in Alaska. Finally, after months of running, they find a community of misfits and decide to settle down and start rebuilding their lives. But the law isn’t far behind. While Nate and Robin learn to take on new roles in the family, Delilah starts to become a young woman. And Jareb…well he’s still Jareb, says TBS.

The Detour debuts January 23 at 10:30 p.m., but a select few will get an early first look.

At The New York Comedy Festival, on Friday November 10 from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m., Jones will host a special sneak preview screening of the first episode of season three. Following the screening Indiewire’s Ben Travers will moderate a question and answer session with Jones at the first-ever TBS Comedy HUB.

Jones stars along with Natalie Zea, Ashley Gerasimovich, Liam Carroll, Daniella Pineda and Laura Benanti.
