Lifetime’s new series, “The Lottery,” introduces a futuristic world dealing with a fertility crisis. A solution to the problem might have been found when a group of scientists successfully fertilizes 100 embryos, but then the government steps in, wanting to offer a select few the chance to bear children as part of a national lottery.

To promote the show, Lifetime has launched a sweepstakes giving someone the chance to win a grand prize of $10,000 to anyone (18 and over) with a July 20 birthday. Submitters go to LotteryLifetime.com to enter and one winner will be chosen at random and announced in the fall.

The sweepstakes corresponds with the show’s premiere, July 20, on Lifetime.
