In Prime Video’s spinoff of The Boys, wannabe superhero Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), who apparently murders people by flinging her blood at them, is excited to attend Godolkin University, America’s only college for up-and-coming superheroes.

Like the members of Vought International’s The Seven, which are explored in The Boys, Moreau and her super-powered classmates aspire to help the world. But that’s before they understand what Vought is really up to. During their freshman year, they learn that ambition requires sacrifice and that the line between right and wrong is not as clear as they may have thought.

Prime Video released the above teaser for the series as well as a new series poster, below, by Los Angeles-based agency Gravillis.

Besides Sinclair, the cast includes Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thoma, and Marco Pigossi. Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter guest star, and The Boys’ stars Jessie T. Usher, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and P.J. Byrne all make appearances.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as showrunners and executive producers. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Nelson Cragg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe, and Michaela Starr also serve as executive producers on the spinoff series. Serving as co-executive producers are Brant Englestein, Sarah Carbiener, Lisa Kussner, Gabriel Garcia, Aisha Porter-Christie, Judalina Neira, and Loreli Alanís. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.

Gen V premieres in 240 territories around the world on Friday, Sept. 29 with two episodes on Prime Video. Weekly episode drops will follow with the season finale slated for Friday, Nov. 3.
