Even Superman gets tired.
In The CW’s latest riff on the Superman story, Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) and his love, now his wife, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), leave Metropolis and head back home to Smallville to raise their two boys, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin). But even then, life is not the easy dream the couple hoped it would be, and among their concerns is the fear that their boys will inherit Clark’s superpowers.
While back in town, the Kents befriend Clark’s high-school sweetheart, Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and her fire chief husband, Kyle Cushing (Erik Valdez), while the boys hang out with their rebellious daughter, Sarah (Inde Navarrette).
And Clark’s still not off the hook as Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh) keeps bringing problems to him to solve or criminals to apprehend.
The CW brought in trailer experts The Shop to cut the above trailer ahead of the show’s two-hour premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Based on the characters from DC created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman & Lois is written and executive produced by Todd Helbing (The Flash) and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns. The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
