Nexstar-owned network The CW will run the final seasons of Nancy Drew and Riverdale this summer, with the back-to-back finales airing on August 23, along with a slate of imported dramas and sitcoms, and alternative and unscripted series.

Imported series are Canadian comedy Run the Burbs, from Kim’s Convenience star Andrew Phung; off-CBC drama Moonshine, and season two of Australian-born comedy Bump, about an overachieving teenager who discovers she’s pregnant, along with the second season of Canadian drama Family Law, starring Jewel Staite and Victor Garber. These shows join previously announced Canadian comedy Son of Critch, based on the best-selling memoir of the same title, British drama The Rising, and Australian surfing drama Barons.

Later this year, The CW will debut Entertainment One’s The Spencer Sisters, also a Canadian import, starring Lea Thompson and Stacey Farber.

On the unscripted side, The CW has four-part docuseries Greatest Geek Year Ever: 1982 and over-the-top cooking competition Recipe for Disaster. It also will debut Down to Earth with Zac Efron off of Netflix, and premiere new seasons of alternative series Great Chocolate Showdown and Mysteries Decoded.

The CW also has canceled several series as it prepares for the new season – Walker spinoff Walker: Independence, the reboot of classic series Kung Fu and Supernatural prequel The Winchesters. Also not expected to return are All American: Homecoming, Superman & Lois and Gotham Knights, although the official word has not been given regarding those three shows.

Walker and All American have both been renewed for next season.
