New York City-based The Collective @ Lair is launching post-production studio The Lodge for edit, design, visual effects and finishing.

Theresa Loguercio, partner and head of production at Lair, will lead The Lodge as executive producer.

“I’m really excited to help launch The Lodge. Post and edit have always been our secret weapons at Lair. Now, we want to share this with the outside world by opening our doors at The Lodge,” said Loguercio in a statement.

Simone Cassass, who has just been hired as lead editor, will oversee editorial projects. Working alongside Cassass will be Editor Sol Raxlen.

“I love storytelling, and at Lair I feel I’ve joined a team that feels exactly the same way I do,” said Cassass, also in a statement. “At Lair, we strive to deliver a powerful message with each job, created with a team effort. The client’s needs always come first and creativity is the main focus.

“Having the chance to be present at the start of The Lodge with Theresa and Sol has been very inspiring. This feels like a place where I can focus on creative editing, a place where I will be able to grow a step further in the post-production process—to learn and exchange ideas.”

Meanwhile, Founding Partner and Director Thor Raxlen and Partner and Executive Producer Mark Aji will continue leading The Collective @ Lair while also overseeing operations at The Lodge.

New business will be handled by Kelly Carson, partner and VP of business development, and Simone Burton, business development executive.
