The fictional space station in “The 100” sounds like a strict place to live.

The CW let out some of the many rules aboard the Ark in a “United Ark Federation PSA,” which includes limited consumption of water, avoiding exercise to conserve oxygen, a one-child per family rule, rationed medicine and a policy of spying on friends and neighbors. After all, the Ark’s exalted mission is “to preserve and promote the longevity of the human race.”

The propaganda machine also sounds rather anti-youth, specifying that for minors, any rule breaking means immediate imprisonment (which is how The 100 got to where they are now).
