Telemundo is dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women, and its new multi-platform campaign is here to show it.

Labeled “Mujeres Imparables,” or Unstoppable Women, the campaign celebrates women’s success in all aspects of life and aims to bring employees, consumers and stakeholders together to enhance the company’s culture of diversity and inclusion, according to a statement.

”From lead characters, programming themes and sports events, to leadership development, insights and social impact initiatives, the message will be amplified across all divisions of our company,” said Mónica Gil, EVP and chief marketing officer, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.

The announcement, which comes just in time for Women’s History Month, was made with the help of a 30-second spot that features notable Latina women stating the importance of “making an impact” and “breaking barriers.”

The multi-platform initiative will include public service announcements, on-air and digital campaigns, and a speaker series at Telemundo Center in Miami. Telemundo employees also will have panel discussions about inclusion in the workplace and an executive leadership training program in partnership with the University of Miami School of Business.

The network plans to highlight women “during this very special month and every month moving forward,” according to Gil, by extending the campaign into 2020. It will also be heightened during the FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer, when Telemundo will tell the stories of female players, coach profiles and activations.
