If you’re tired of seeing spoilers for season two of La Reina Del Sur, there’s one easy fix: watch each episode live.

That’s the premise of “La Ves por Telemundo o no la Ves” (Watch it on Telemundo, or You’ll Miss Out), the spoiler-filled marketing campaign launched by the Spanish network ahead of La Reina Del Sur’s second season.

Telemundo, along with cast members like Kate del Castillo, will post key story points on their social media accounts after each episode, spoiling them for those who didn’t watch live. The end goal is to urge viewers to engage in real-time viewing, attract new audiences, and spark daily conversations around each episode, says Karen Barroeta, senior VP of marketing and creative at Telemundo.

The campaign will also run on air and in OOH platforms in key Hispanic markets.

Season two of La Reina del Sur is set eight years after drug trafficker Teresa Mendoza is brought into the U.S. Federal Witness Protection Program for bringing down Mexican presidential candidate Epifanio Vargas. Suddenly, her daughter gets kidnapped, forcing Teresa to help her enemies, reclaim her throne as La Reina del Sur, and save Sofia.

La Reina del Sur is a co-production between Telemundo Global Studios and Netflix. Created by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, season two is written by Roberto Stopello, Juan Marcos Blanco, Miguel Ferrari, and Jose Miguel Nuñez. Marcos Santana is executive producer and showrunner of the series, with Telemundo’s Martha Godoy and AG Studios’ Rodrigo Guerrero as

It premieres Monday, April 22 on Telemundo.
