To herald the third season of Velocity’s Iron Resurrection, Silver Spring, Md.-based IFDC created this spot, which emphasizes the importance of teamwork among the gang at Austin’s Martin Bros. Customs when it comes to restoring classic cars.

Inspired by the style of director Guy Ritchie, the piece was carefully crafted from script to color palette to wardrobe using seemingly seamless transitions between scenes, whip pans, heavy sound design and strong character narration.

Before shooting even started, the team at IFDC played out the scene themselves, creating a shot-by-shot animatic. With edit, music and voiceover pre-approved by Velocity, IFDC headed to Austin for two days of shooting with the cast. There, they braved rattlesnakes, black widow spiders and 100-plus degree heat to capture the images. World renowned photographer Noah Schultz also was on hand to shoot the scene, rounding out the series’ 360 campaign.

Iron Resurrection returns to Velocity on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
