TCA Winter Press Tour is upon us again—believe it or not—and first up are the cable networks, who will have their turn to present their latest offerings—and the promo packages that accompany them—to the assembled television writers at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena.

Here at Brief HQ we’ve put together this snapshot of what’s on offer this week so you can stay ahead of the curve as the networks start pumping out their releases and trailers as their panels unfold.

NETFLIX (Wednesday, January 7, 9 a.m.)

The streaming service kicks off Wednesday with three different series panels—two new and one returning. Up first is season two of The Fall (premieres Jan. 16), starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, as well as the new comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt starring Ellie Kemper (The Office) and family saga Bloodline, starring Kyle Chandler of Friday Night Lights fame. Both of the new series premiere in March.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the series created by Tina Fey and fellow 30 Rock alum Robert Carlock that NBC had originally wanted, before the network released it last fall and Netflix picked it up. Bloodline, from the creators of Damages, tells the story of the explosive return home to the Florida Keys of a black-sheep brother whose tense new coexistence with his estranged family reaches a boiling point as the season progresses.

ESPN (Wednesday, January 7, 2 p.m.-2:45 p.m.)

In addition to unveiling a new slate of docs from ESPN Films, the sports network will unveil changes to flagship program SportsCenter—including a live hour from both L.A. and ESPN HQ in Connecticut.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNELS (Wednesday, January 7, 3 p.m.-5:30 p.m.)

Lots of reality programming in this lineup, with five series on offer to the critics: The Big Picture with Kal Penn, American Genius, Ultimate Survival Alaska, Killing Jesus, Incredible: The Story of Dr. Pol, and Barkfest.

DISCOVERY COMMUNICATIONS (Thursday, January 8, 9 p.m.-Noon)

Rich Ross makes his TCA debut in his new role as president of Discovery Communications. Among the shows being previewed: Vanity Fair Confidential from ID.

HBO (Thursday, January 8, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.)

Bessie, The Queen Latifah-starred bio of blues singer Bessie Smith, Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, and new series Togetherness—about two couples living under one roof in the L.A. area will all be previewed. Dark WWIII-era comedy The Brink, starring Jack Black and Tim Robbins, also will be there.

A+E NETWORKS (Friday, January 9, 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.)

The big draw here should be Carlton Cuse’s reimagining of the hit French series The Returned. Also look for Christina Ricci in The Lizzie Borden Chronicles. And on tap: event series Texas Rising, chronicling the Texas Revolution and the history of the Texas Rangers.

POP (Friday, January 9, 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.)

POP makes its TCA debut with network president Brad Schwartz, as well as a preview of comedy series Schitt’s Creek. Fan favorites Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Lev will be in attendance.

pivot (Friday, January 9, 1:45 p.m.-2:15 p.m.)

The network aimed at Millennials is presenting its new original series Fortitude, which makes its Stateside debut after appearing on Sky Atlantic across the Pond. The series is set in the icy beauty of the Arctic, in a town that has been—up until now—one of the safest places on Earth. A murder sets the town on edge, and the mystery threatens to tear the entire community apart.

STARZ (Friday, January 9, 3:30 p.m.-5:15 p.m.)

The premium cabler is bringing previews of the second seasons of Black Sails and Power, as well as the midseason premiere of fan favorite Outlander.

AMC NETWORKS (Saturday, January 10, 8:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m.)

AMC has two of the most anticipated panels of the cable end of the tour, with Better Call Saul making its first appearance and Mad Men making its last. All the major talent from both shows will be on their panels. Halt and Catch Fire gets the spot right in the middle.

BBC AMERICA (Saturday, January 10, 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.)

We expect a few hardcore #CloneClub fans to try to sneak their way into the TCA tour to see Tatiana Maslany and the Orphan Black crew, the standout series on the lineup from the Brits this time around.

ADULT SWIM (Saturday, January 10, 1:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m)

Triumph the Insult Dog and Jack McBrayer are bringing what can only be expected to be their own special brand of comedy to the tour with a preview of the still untitled Triumph live-action project that stars both and will debut at some point in the first quarter this year.

VIACOM (Saturday, January 10, 2:15 p.m.-5:45 p.m.)

Two big standouts on the Viacom list: Larry Wilmore will be previewing The Nightly Show, which replaces Colbert, while MTV lifts the curtain on its new original thriller series Eye Candy.
