Trevor Noah has been wooing Daily Show fans on Comedy Central since his September debut, but the South African comic has been known in the global comedy community for some time now.

With his own show, documentary and several standup specials under his belt, Noah is teaming up with the network for his latest special. On Sunday, Nov. 22, Noah and Comedy Central will debut his one-hour special, “Trevor Noah: Lost in Translation,” with an encore presentation immediately following it.

But before Daily Show fans take a chance on Noah away from the news desk, check out some of his previous standup work first:

“Daywalker 2.0:”

This 2010 set discusses Oprah from a South African perspective.

“Crazy Normal:”

In which Noah takes on politics and grammar.

“That’s Racist:”

Noah remembers his first few run-ins with Angelenos.

“African American:”

Maybe it’s easiest not to analyze American sports too much.

You Laugh But It’s True:

The documentary about Noah is currently on Netflix, where director David Paul Meyer follows the comedian as he prepares for his first one-man show.
