This year’s three new nationally distributed syndicated shows — Warner Bros.’ Crime Watch Daily, Disney-ABC’s FABLife and NBCUniversal’s Crazy Talk — premiere on Monday, Sept. 14, all with the hopes of running for seasons upon seasons like Oprah, Wheel of Fortune and Live with Regis and Kathie and Kelly and Michael before them.

Whether this new crop of shows has staying power remains to be seen — and the odds, like all of TV, aren’t in their favor — but sometimes shows still hit in daytime. In honor of those, let’s take a look back at some syndie promos.

For example, Warner Bros.’ Ellen, which debuted its 13th season on Tuesday to score its best premiere ratings since the show’s launch in 2004. But Ellen’s always been good at premieres. Here’s a look back at last year’s premiere promo:

There was no shortage of drama when Disney-ABC’s Live with Kelly and ? promoted the announcement of its new host in 2012:

NBCU’s Steve Harvey promised the daytime audience that “you and I will get through this together.” Three years later, the show’s still on and doing fine, so maybe he was right:

Finally, Debmar-Mercury last fall launched Celebrity Name Game starring Craig Ferguson, in part with this high-energy trailer:
