Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen might be the world’s favorite British best friends.

And to prove how close they are, they’re even premiering their shows within one day of each other this weekend. Stewart’s Blunt Talk debuts Saturday on Starz and McKellen is back for season two with Vicious on PBS Sunday.

In honor of their friendship that we all know and love, let’s look back on some of their work throughout the years.

Blunt Talk: Stewart plays a flawed British newsman (Piers Morgan, perhaps?) trying to break into the American TV news market.

Vicious: McKellen stars with Derek Jacobi as a happy gay couple living in London. The series originally aired on ITV in the U.K.

Star Trek: The Next Generation: Captain Jean-Luc Picard might be the role for which Stewart is best known.

Doctor Who: McKellen’s voiceover in Doctor Who’s Christmas Special, The Snowmen, thrilled Whovians everywhere.

Extras: Both Stewart and McKellen appeared on Ricky Gervais’ series. Stewart focuses on screenwriting, while McKellen gives acting advice, like “pretend to be the person I’m portraying.”

When it comes to earlier work, try to spot Stewart and McKellen in these ‘60s British novel adaptations:

Lastly, who can forget when they played foes/friends Professor X and Magneto in the X-Men franchise:
