TV/Broadway/movie star Neil Patrick Harris will take over hosting duties for The Academy Awards on ABC.

The actor/magician/singer/performer has some big shoes to fill, following acts like Ellen DeGeneres, Billy Crystal, Jon Stewart, Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal a few more times. So in preparation for Sunday’s Oscars telecast, let’s remember some of the most recent hosting accomplishments.

2015:

ABC puts Harris’ magical talents front and center with one of the first promos to appear.

2014:

Let’s re-live the big social selfie moment at the Oscars that made headlines, broke Twitter and made show sponsor Samsung very happy.

2013:

Oscar host Seth MacFarlane promoted his hosting gig to the parents that watch the show and the younger demographics that may know his work (Family Guy, American Dad, Ted).

2012:

The 84th Academy Awards host Billy Crystal did a short bit in 2012 that read Oscar-goers’ minds, from Brad Pitt to Martin Scorsese.

2011:

James Franco and Anne Hathaway were certainly not the first duo to host the show, but the 2011 show took a strange turn when America’s sweetheart and the multi-hyphenate teamed up.

2010:

Following up on their movie together, It’s Complicated, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin co-hosted the 2010 awards show that also featured an opening number from 2015 host Neil Patrick Harris.

And just because we will miss him behind The Daily Show desk, here’s a clip of Jon Stewart’s 2008 hosting of the Academy Awards:
