As office pools and college dorms around the country gear up for March Madness, we’re celebrating #TBT with a look back at how the NCAA’s annual wall-to-wall basketball extravaganza has been promoted, intro’ed and celebrated on air in years past.

No championship game is complete without the broadcast of “One Shining Moment,” which usually airs as the winning team cuts down the net and a montage of moments from the tournament are played. Here’s the 1987 edition of the song, following the Indiana/Syracuse championship game
