TBS is going all out with cop spoof/comedy, Angie Tribeca, in a 25-hour marathon launch, complete with True Detective-like seasons and intensity (each encompassing only one episode).

Even the show’s key art is tagged “Angie Tribeca: More Detective,” designed with a logo that looks a lot like a certain second season of an HBO cop show.

In what TBS is calling its “largest renewal ever,” Angie Tribeca has gotten a 10 “season” order (10 episodes), premiering Jan. 17 in a marathon launch.

TBS will air the first episode five times in a row over a 25-hour period starting Jan. 17, with subsequent episodes airing Mondays after that.

Each episode of the show will be treated as a full season of a police procedural, “that will allow viewers to experience the emotional highs of a season premiere and season finale in one powerful 30-minute package,” according to TBS. The marathon announcement came with a new show trailer (above), which includes fun moments from the show and how to watch, including text-heavy, tongue-in-cheek moments like this:

Staring Rashida Jones as the title character, Angie Tribeca is part of TBS’ new slate of comedies, this one coming from Steve and Nancy Carell.

“The series follows a squad of committed LAPD detectives who investigate the most serious cases, from the murder of a ventriloquist to a rash of baker suicides,” TBS explained.

The show will also roll out internationally across the Turner portfolio, airing on Turner’s Latin American and German networks on Jan. 17, with its Spanish, Nordic and Asian networks to follow.
