Oscar nominee and movie legend Sylvester Stallone joins the Sheridan-verse as ex-convict Dwight Manfredi in Paramount Plus’ Tulsa King, created and executive produced by Oscar-nominee Taylor Sheridan and Emmy-winner Terence Winter (The Sopranos, The Wolf of Wall Street), who also serves as showrunner and writer. Tulsa King is the latest addition to Sheridan’s growing slate on Paramount Plus, which includes 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown as well as the upcoming series 1923, Bass Reeves, Lioness and Land Man.

The above trailer premiered exclusively on CBS during Sunday’s NFL game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.

Tulsa King follows mafia capo Manfredi, who is released from prison after serving 25 years. Upon his return to his old stomping grounds, he finds he is no longer welcome and instead is unceremoniously exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Once he arrives, he builds a crew of his own from a group of unlikely characters, helping him establish a new criminal empire in a place he had never even thought of until he was forced to move there.

Tulsa King also stars Andrea Savage (I’m Sorry), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Jay Will (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Max Casella (The Tender Bar), Domenick Lombardozzi (The Irishman), Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire), A.C. Peterson (Superman & Lois) with Garrett Hedlund (The United States vs. Billie Holiday) and Dana Delany (Body of Proof).

Tulsa King is executive produced by Sheridan, Winter, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter and Braden Aftergood. It’s produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

The series premieres with two episodes on Sunday, November 13 on Paramount Plus. Following the premiere, new episodes will drop weekly on Sundays exclusively on the service. Paramount Network will also host a special linear airing of Tulsa King on Sunday, November 20, immediately following a new episode of Yellowstone.

Internationally, Tulsa King will premiere on Paramount Plus in Canada on Sunday, November 13, followed by a premiere in Australia and the U.K. on Monday, November 14. The series will air later this year on Paramount Plus in Latin America, Italy and in additional territories upon the launch of the service in those regions.
