Syfy’s new science fiction drama Incorporated presents a future where human lives are completely controlled by corporations they work for.

In order to drive home the show’s premise, the creatives behind the series unleashed an interactive promotional website, showing richer citizens living in the opulent Green Zone and the poor inhabiting the impoverished Red Zone and having viewers choose. The tagline they use for the experience, seen below, is “In 2074 we are more divided than ever. Which side are you on?”

The series is set in the year 2074. Climate change has destroyed the world and bankrupted governments, which has lead to multinational corporations controlling 90 percent of the globe. Therefore, everyone’s shelter, food, and, literally, life is controlled by the corporations. Since resources are minimal, the land is divided into two zones: Green and Red. The Green Zone is the corporation-controlled section with the modern amenities and plush life reserved for people who are employees or their immediate relatives. The Red Zone is in perpetual squalor with limited to no resources reserved for everyone that is not permitted into the Green Zone.

Incorporated follows Ben Larson (Sean Teale), a young executive who conceals his true identity to survive as a company man. However, when a shocking turn of events forces him to stick his neck out and compromise his position, Ben discovers that climbing the corporate ladder is a game with deadly consequences. The series also stars Dennis Haysbert as Julian, Julia Ormond as Elizabeth, Allison Miller as Laura and Eddie Ramos Theo.

The futuristic thriller is from Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Todd’s Pearl Street Films, CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions. The series was created by Alex Pastor and David Pastor, who both also directed the pilot. Ted Humphrey serves as executive producer/showrunner, with Damon, Affleck and Todd also executive producing.

Incorporated airs Wednesdays 10 p.m. ET on Syfy.
