SundanceTV promoted two New York-based creative services execs on Wednesday, giving them expanded roles on the heels of the network’s recent rebrand.

Mark Williams was upped to SVP, Brand Creative for SundanceTV Creative Services, while Jessica Gleason was named VP, Production.

The promotions were announced by AMC Networks SVP of Creative Services Robert Battles, to whom Williams reports. Gleason will continue to report to Williams.

“Mark and Jessie are wonderfully talented, experienced creative leaders who’ve helped clearly define the SundanceTV brand,” Battles said Wednesday. “They have been instrumental to the channel’s consistently strong and well communicated on-air creative, as well as the recent rebrand.”

In his new role, Williams will add promo strategy and planning to a portfolio that already includes overseeing the creation of all video elements for on-air, off-channel, marketing, ad sales, public relations, digital, emerging platforms and affiliates.

Gleason oversees overall production management of video and broadcast projects, and supports sponsorship sales initiatives and marketing tentpole campaigns.

Before joining SundanceTV, Williams oversaw on-air promotions for CourtTV, and has worked with a variety of networks, including HBO, Cinemax, History Channel, A&E, HGTV, and Bravo. He has won numerous PromaxBDA Awards.

Gleason arrived at SundanceTV in 2003 as Director of Production. She previously worked as head of production at Beehive, a creative agency, serving a variety of network clients, including HBO, MTV, Discovery, ESPN, Showtime, Disney, ABC, TNT and Lifetime.

Both Williams and Gleason are members of PromaxBDA.
