SundanceTV is heading back to the ‘90s for The Red Road’s first graphic novel.
The newly released comic on the network’s website is called The Red Road Graphic Novel: 1990, and serves as an origin story for several of the show’s characters.
Chapter one is currently online, with plans for the second chapter coming soon. Characters including Phillip (Jason Momoa), Jean (Julianne Nicholson) and Harold (Martin Henderson) are seen in their high school days and looks at how some of their relationships started.
The graphic novel was created with the help of the show’s creator, Aaron Guzikowski, in order to engage fans while staying true to the series.
The Red Road is currently in its second season on SundanceTV, airing new episodes Thursdays at 10 p.m.
