This summer has been a solid season for TV key art, so Brief took the opportunity to highlight some of our favorites. Check out our top 4 below.

HBO: True Blood

HBO tends to come out with some pretty creative takes on its longer-running series, and “True Blood” is no different. Even though it is in its sixth season, the key art continues to raise questions, like the one surrounding this season of which vampire will survive—also noted through its tagline “No one lives forever.”

FX: The Bridge

FX Networks’ “The Bridge” began a key art campaign well ahead of its summer launch, and combined with its very short and very evocative promos, had a solid teaser campaign. The show, about an uneasy border at the US and Mexico, plays off the relationship with homages both to Mexico and the American southwest. Each piece of key art, all used in print campaigns, were stark images of the area and its culture.

AMC: The Pitch

This series doesn’t return until August 15, but the summer series inside the ad industry faces a lot of pressure in its marketing. Speaking about and to advertising execs, this series lives up to its message each season with insightful key art about not only the week-to-week reality show, but also the industry at large.

Lifetime: Project Runway

At the forefront of fashion, Lifetime’s “Project Runway” is given tons of opportunity for style and artistic expression. That’s why it’s notable that in its 12th season, its key art ignores all of that and takes it all off.
