Commercial and branded content production company Stun Creative promoted Dave Mellott to senior creative director.

In his new role, Mellott will help lead creative work for all the agency’s network, studio and consumer brand clients.

“Dave has been a huge asset here at Stun,” Brad Roth, Stun founder/principal, said in a statement. “With his background on the agency side working with consumer brands and on the network side, he has become an invaluable leader who has a first hand understanding of the creative and branding needs of a wide range of clients.”

Mellott joined Stun in 2012 as a creative director, bringing knowledge and experience from agencies such as FCB Chicgao/LA and Dentsu, working with a wide range of brands including Coors, SC Johnson Canon and Universal Studios.

He also held creative leadership roles at Fox Sports, Current TV, Harpo Productions and Discovery Communications.

“I’m excited,” Mellott said, “to help Stun continue in expanding its consumer and entertainment brand work across all platforms.”
