Bobby Whisnant, Jr. and Lou Montecastro both have been promoted to vice presidents at Los Angeles-based marketing agency Studio City/PXL.

“Studio City’s accelerated growth over the past decade would have been far less impressive if not for the boundless talent and passion Bobby and Lou share with our clients every day”, said Stu Weiss, Chief Creative Officer, Studio City Holdings, in a statement.

Whisnant has been named vice president at Studio City, expanding his creative and client development across multiple accounts on both coasts.

He started as a production coordinator on Studio City’s account for Warner Bros.’ The Tyra Banks Show, and then became the agency’s creative director in New York overseeing Debmar-Mercury’s The Wendy Williams Show as well as Warner Bros.’ off-network drama Criminal Minds and short-lived syndicated series Judge Jeanine Pirro. Following that, he spent seven years doing promotion and marketing for CBS’ daily panel talker, The Talk.

Montecastro has been named vice president, business and finance at Studio City Holdings LLC, which encompasses the company’s broadcast, theatrical, digital and political marketing agencies. Prior to joining Studio City in 2005, Montecastro held management positions at CBS Domestic Television, Paramount Pictures, Lucasfilm and Universal Music.
