Netflix and Amazon continue their awards haul, topping the 2016 Golden Globes’ list of nominated content providers.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its 73rd annual Golden Globes nominations on Thursday, once again highlighting streaming services and premium networks. both of whom top many of the TV categories this year. Notably, 2016 Golden Globes host NBC received no nominations this time around.

Netflix tops the TV list with eight nominations total, but in the overall race, it’s HBO who is sitting pretty, with seven total nominations not only for its network but for its studio. By doing so, HBO is winning the business strategy side of the awards season by owning and distributing award-winning content such as Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley.

Premium network Starz also is in the top five nominations this year with six total, followed by Amazon and FX with five nominations each. Broadcasters ABC, Fox and PBS count four nominations each. The Best Actor categories for drama add in AMC’s Mad Men (Jon Hamm) and Better Call Saul (Bob Odenkirk), which reflects the upcoming SAG Awards race.

Best Television Series (drama) is the one category that manages to spread across virtually all types of networks, with Fox’s Empire (broadcast), HBO’s Game of Thrones (premium network), USA’s Mr. Robot (cable), Netflix’s Narcos (streaming) and Starz’s Outlander (premium network).

The TV comedy race is a bit heavier on the streaming services, with Hulu’s Casual, Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle and Transparent, and HBO’s Veep and Silicon Valley.

Acting categories for comedy are filled with newcomers, however, with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Rachel Bloom up against Scream Queens’ Jamie Lee Curtis and Grace and Frankie’s Lily Tomlin (as well as last year’s winner, Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez). Master of None’s Aziz Ansari, Mozart in the Jungle’s Gael Garcia Bernal, The Grinder’s Rob Lowe and Blunt Talk’s Patrick Stewart also were nominated alongside last year’s winner, Transparent’s Jeffrey Tambor.

American Crime made a big mark for ABC, counting three nominations total including one for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. The Limited Series category, as well as acting for that category, was filled with FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel and Fargo, Starz’s Flesh & Bone and PBS’ Wolf Hall.

The 2016 Golden Globes will air Jan. 10 on NBC, hosted once again by Ricky Gervais.
