Joel Stillerman has been named president of original programming and development for both AMC and Sundance TV, the networks said Tuesday.

Jan Diederichsen has been promoted to the newly created position of executive director of SundanceTV.

Both promotions were made in light of AMC President and General Manager Charlie Collier adding oversight of SundanceTV to his portfolio.

Stillerman has been with AMC since 2008 and guided development on such shows as The Walking Dead, Talking Dead, Hell on Wheels and Better Call Saul. Stillerman has worked on such upcoming series as Fear the Walking Dead and Into the Badlands.

Diedrichsen is a 14-year veteran of AMC Networks. He most recently served as senior VP of affiliate marketing.

AMC and SundanceTV today announced a new senior leadership structure, including the elevation of Joel Stillerman to President of Original Programming and Development for both AMC and SundanceTV, and the appointment of AMC Networks veteran Jan Diedrichsen to the newly created position of Executive Director of SundanceTV. This follows the recent appointment of Charlie Collier as President and General Manager of SundanceTV, adding to his oversight of AMC.

Marnie Black also is expanding her purview to include SundanceTV as well as AMC. Other executives being promoted to help oversee SundanceTV are Tom Halleen, programming and scheduling; Mac McKean, digital media; Melanie Schneider, research; and Linda Schupack, marketing.
