Dallas-based Stephen Arnold Music is launching its latest morning campaign for TV stations called “Great Way to Wake Up.”

The new campaign — which was developed in collaboration with ABC affiliate WSYX Columbus, Ohio — offers stations new music that can be customized for their market. The packages are available on a market-exclusive basis.

“Great Way to Wake Up” comes in varying lengths, including full song, 60 seconds, 30 seconds, 20 seconds, 15 seconds, 10 seconds and idents. The catchy hook and energetic sonic identity is intended to help stations grow their viewership and grow additional revenue in the mornings, which audiences are most likely to watch live, local programming.

In the past several years, many TV stations have added early morning newscasts at 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

“The right morning news promotion can make a significant difference to local stations,” said Chad Cook, vice president, creative for Stephen Arnold Music in a statement. “Our morning image campaigns have consistently helped to increase viewership and audience engagement in the markets where they’re deployed. ‘Great Way to Wake Up’ puts a fresh spin on the concept, reinventing morning news promotion yet again with music, lyrics and a performance that stands out during the most competitive part of the day.”

Besides working with local TV stations covering 75 percent of the U.S., Stephen Arnold also has done sonic branding for such clients as CNN, Fox, ESPN, AXS TV and CCTV.

Previously, Stephen Arnold Music has created for stations such music packages as “Morning Ready,” “All About Early” and “Waking Up My Day.”
