The above feels just like a standard commercial for a fast-food chain until the very end, when owner Gus Fring comes on to tell viewers that if they don’t like Los Pollos Hermanos’ spicy curly fries, “they’re on me.”

Viewers of AMC’s Breaking Bad will recognize Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) as not just the mild-mannered owner of a chain of fried-chicken franchises, but also as a stone-cold drug lord who made life tough for the show’s anti-heroes, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).

Fans of Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, which tells the origin story of criminal attorney Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), have to hope that the ad’s appearance means the show’s upcoming third season will delve into the meet-cute between two of Breaking Bad‘s most iconic characters. After all, Walter White never would have met Fring, sold him millions of dollars in meth and cooked exclusively for him if it wasn’t for Saul.
