Starz revealed trailers and photos for Vida and Warriors of Liberty City (posted above)—two new original shows that the network plans to highlight, along with upcoming series Sweetbitter— at SXSW.

In addition to world premiere screenings and panel discussions for Vida and Warriors of Liberty City, Starz is also launching a “Sensory House” activation around Vida and Sweetbitter—both premiering May 6—that will “bring attendees on a journey of sight, smell, taste, touch and sound through the offerings of local female artisans,” according to a press release.

Vida focuses on two Mexican-American sisters from the Eastside of Los Angeles who couldn’t be more different or distanced from each other. Circumstances force them to return to their old neighborhood, where they are confronted by the past and surprising truth about their mother’s identity.

The series will debut with a screening of the first two episodes on Sunday, March 11 at 1 p.m. in Vimeo Theater, followed by a Q&A with Executive Producer Tanya Saracho and cast members Melissa Barrera (Club de Cuervos), Mishel Prada (Fear The Walking Dead: Passage), Ser Anzoategui (East Los High), Chelsea Rendon (Bright), Carlos Miranda (The Bling Ring) and Maria Elena Laas (Vital Signs).

Warriors of Liberty City is a docuseries that explores a crime-ridden neighborhood in Miami, Fla, that is arguably the NFL’s largest, most successful football factory. The series follows a season with the Liberty City Warriors, a youth football program founded by an unlikely mentor: hip hop pioneer Luther Campbell, better known as “Uncle Luke.”

The screening of the first episode will take place Monday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m. in Vimeo Theater, followed by a Q&A with creator, producer and director Evan Rosenfeld (30 for 30, Vice World of Sports), hip hop pioneer, executive producer and Warriors program founder Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell, Duke Johnson (Cleveland Browns), and executive producer and CEO of SpringHill Entertainment Maverick Carter (Survivor’s Remorse, The Wall).

To promote both Vida and Sweetbitter —about a young woman who moves to New York City and lands in a high-end restaurant—the Sensory House activation on Austin’s 88 Rainey Street will be open from March 9 - 11. It will include:

  • Custom scents inspired by show’s four main characters, and designed by Austin perfume bar owner Krista Lacey of Roux Saint James

  • A Sugarfina candy bar inspired by the tastes of salty, sweet and bitter

  • A curated wine bar and daily wine tasting by Rae Wilson

  • On-site printed T-shirts and tote bags with designs inspired by each show

  • Custom cocktails created by local cocktail wizard Tracy Rowland

  • Music spun by The Chulita Vinyl Club, an all-female DJ collective

  • Mini-manicures featuring five custom designs inspired by Vida and painted by local nail artist Meghann Rosales and her Nails Y’all shop

  • Portraits on display by celebrated Mexican textile artist Victoria Villasana
