In advance of the sixth and final season of its series, Power, Starz released the official trailer and key art timed to the cast’s appearance at the Essence Festival in New Orleans over the weekend.

Stars Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Joseph Sikora, Rotimi, La La Anthony and Larenz Tate took the stage at the festival to give fans their first glimpse at season six, which premieres Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, across Starz’ platforms, including the linear network, the app and on demand. The last season will run an extended 15 episodes.

Joining the cast this season are Evan Handler, Michael J. Ferguson, Monique Gabriela Curnen and Mike Dopud.

Power is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who will make his directorial debut this season. Anthony Hemingway, who directed the series’ first two episodes, returns to oversee the finale. Power also is created by Courtney A. Kemp, who serves as co-showrunner and executive producer along with Garry Lennon. Mark Canton, Randall Emmett, Shana Stein and Bart Wenrich also executive produce.
