Starz dropped a season two trailer for Ash vs Evil Dead featuring “more gore, more guts and more groovy”—enough so that it was banned from Comic-Con.

The trailer, which was deemed too gory for the annual convention in San Diego, shows Ash (Bruce Campbell) forced out of early retirement in Florida by evil spirits, and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove, Mich. Along with being reunited with his childhood best friend and high school sweetheart, the hero with a chainsaw arm forms an uneasy alliance with former enemy Ruby (Lucy Lawless), who joins the cast.
True to form, the trailer features plenty of flying limbs, bloody messes, and lots of footage that Comic-Con considered inappropriate for a family-friendly crowd.
Ash vs Evil Dead returns in October.
