Spike TV promoted Jennifer Savage to vice president, brand marketing initiatives on Tuesday. In her new role, Savage will oversee the channel’s pro social initiatives, manage the creative process for key Spike presentations, and create strategic marketing barter-based partnerships for Spike and individual franchises.

She will continue to report to Frank Tanki, evp, brand marketing and creative.

“Jennifer Savage has been instrumental in the evolution of the Spike brand over the years and her strategic and innovative thinking in her new position will be vital for the Marketing team as we continue to grow the brand,” said Tanki.

Savage is a 12-year veteran of Viacom Entertainment Group, having most recently served as senior director, creative services and marketing. She was one of the original staffers at Spike when it launched in 2003, starting as a line producer for the channel’s original series.
