Red Fabbri has been named to the newly created position of vice president, fan engagement and editorial at Spike TV. The announcement was made this week by Cedric Foster, senior VP, brand marketing, digital and fan engagement Strategy, Spike TV, to whom he will report.

In his new role, Fabbri will oversee the growth of multiplatform audience, engagement and content consumption for the Spike brand and will manage initiatives on social media platforms, app and site editorial and develop original content for distinct platforms.

“Red brings a tremendous amount of experience growing and engaging audiences,” said Foster in a statement. “We are excited for him to take the fan engagement reigns and continue to grow our portfolio of Spike franchises, fueled by his passion for putting the audience first on every platform.”

Fabbri previously served as head of audience at Elite Daily, where he set and oversaw the strategy behind audience development and growth for the organization.

Prior to Elite Daily, Fabbri spent three years at Condé Nast as director of digital where he led digital strategy, social media execution and multichannel communications.

Fabbri started his career at NBCUniversal and earned a Bachelor degree in Communications and Economics from Boston College.
