After debuting on MTV in 2016, The Shannara Chronicles is moving to Spike.

“Everything is about to change,” promises Spike’s in the show’s season two trailer.

The 10-episodes are set a year after the events of season one, with the Four Lands in chaos. Magic re-emerging throughout the realm has the populace terrified, and as a result, an organization that calls themselves The Crimson is hunting down those with magical abilities.

Wil (Austin Butler) has chosen to leave magic in the past, thanks to the death of Amberle and separation from Eretria (Ivana Baquero).

“I’m not interested in saving the world anymore,” says Wil in the spot.

But after a mysterious woman named Mareth (Malese Jow) saves him from a Crimson attack, he realizes he must rejoin the fight or watch the world around him change forever.

The second season ofThe Shannara Chronicles premieres on Spike on October 11.
