The world may have changed but one thing never does: Larry David.

Creative agency Imaginary Forces collaborated with HBO on the above teaser, inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey. Imaginary Forces expertly combines an image of the Earth spinning in space with David’s shiny head and similarly morphs the theme music from 2001 into the jangly and recognizable theme music from Curb.

Originally debuting on HBO in 2001 and presenting 100 episodes to date, Curb Your Enthusiasm stars Seinfeld co-creator David as an over-the-top version of himself as he lives life in Los Angeles and continually creates catastrophe wherever he goes. The series is shot with only an outline of each episode provided to the performers, who then improvise as they go.

The series also stars Susie Essman (Broad City), Jeff Garlin (The Goldbergs), Cheryl Hines (Suburgatory), J.B. Smoove (Mapleworth Murders), Ted Danson (The Good Place, Mr. Mayor) and Richard Lewis (Anything But Love).

Curb Your Enthusiasm is created and executive produced by David with Garlin and Jeff Schaffer also executive producing. Laura Streicher is co-executive producer with Jon Yaman and Steve Leff as consulting producers.

Curb Your Enthusiasm returns for its ten-episode 11th season Sunday, Oct. 24 on HBO Max.
