Following up on its brand campaign, ‘Where Then Meets Now,’ launched last year, TCM has released two new network spots that showcase how classic films embed themselves in our lives and memories.
In ‘Cyclone,’ two siblings jumping on their beds and having a pillow fight results in a reenactment of the famous scene from The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy inadvertently kills the Wicked Witch of the West after a cyclone abruptly drops her house in Oz.

And in ‘Happy Place,’ a Chinese couple recreates the famous restaurant scene from everyone’s favorite romantic comedy, When Harry Met Sally.

Both spots are directed by Ted Lasso’s Declan Lowney.
