For the opening sequence to Hulu’s Castle Rock, from J.J. Abrams and Stephen King, Imaginary Forces turned to the haunting pages of the author’s past novels for inspiration.
The main titles use eery snippets of stories from the past, and things yet to come, to set the tone for the psychological series, which weaves together characters and settings from King’s past works, including Cujo, Shawshank Redemption, Carrie and star Sissy Spacek, and It’s Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård).
