In Prime Video’s new series, Night Sky, Oscar winners Sissy Spacek and J.K. Simmons are Irene and Franklin York, a couple who commune with another planet via a mysterious chamber they discovered in their backyard years ago. While they frequently enjoy the extraterrestrial view themselves, they’ve carefully guarded their secret through the years.

“There’s a reason we were the ones to find this,” Irene says. “This is our riddle to solve.”

But when an enigmatic young man enters their lives, the Yorks’ existence is upended and the mystifying chamber they thought they knew so well turns out to be much more than they could ever have imagined.

Besides Spacek and Simmons, Night Sky also stars Chai Hansen, Kiah McKirnan, Julieta Zylberberg, Rocío Hernández and Adam Bartley.
