Showtime has unveiled the first teaser for its upcoming reboot of The L Word, the network’s hit drama that ran for six seasons from 2004 to 2009.

Labeled Generation Q, the series details the changes in the lives of Bette (Jennifer Beals), Shane (Katherine Moennig), and Alice (Leisha Hailey) after moving to the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

It’ll also introduce a new generation of characters, which includes Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Sarah Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas) and Gigi (Sepideh Moafi) “as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in LA.”

The L Word: Generation Q premieres Dec. 8 on Showtime.
