Showtime unleashed a trailer for Disgraced, a feature-length documentary about the murder of Patrick Dennehy by his Baylor University basketball teammate Carlton Dotson.

The clip gives background into the events and moments that led up to the murder of Dennehy, who was shot and killed by Dotson on June 12, 2003. The film includes interviews among the former students and investigators involved in the case.

The documentary also recounts the attempted cover-up by then-head coach Dave Bliss, who attempted to convince players to lie to school officials and NCAA investigators about Dennehy being a drug dealer to cover up the broken NCAA rules.

Dotson eventually pleaded guilty to the murder and was sentenced to 35 years in prison.

Disgraced will first premiere at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin this month and will make its television premiere on Showtime on March 31 at 9 p.m. ET.
