Much like HBO this past Sunday, Showtime will claim next Sunday as its own, with season premieres of “Nurse Jackie” and “Californication” as well as the debut o new docu-series “Years of Living Dangerously.”
Though the cable network’s promo focus may be on the troubled nurse, David Duchovny is now getting more attention for his series, returning Sunday for it seventh season. Celeb-filled “Years of Living Dangerously’s” series premiere will follow.
Sunday nights are crowded this spring. Showtime is facing off against HBO’s super-charged line-up featuring “Game of Thrones,” “Veep” and “Silicon Valley” as well as AMC, which premieres the first part of “Mad Men”‘s final season on April 13, and continues with new American Revolution series “Turn.”
