Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, a group of well-known Republican operatives banded together in a group called The Lincoln Project to work to assure that Donald J. Trump was not reelected president of the United States. Using Trump’s own tactics against him on the very platforms he preferred, The Lincoln Group quickly gained attention and success. However, they were not prepared to just as quickly get taken down themselves – and by the actions of one of its founding members.

Directed by Fisher Stevens (Dirty Money, Before the Flood) and Karim Amer (The Vow, The Great Hack), the five-episode series is produced for Showtime by The Othrs in association with Bloomfish Productions and Impact Partners. Producers are Alexander Hyde, Mikaela Beardsley, Allison Berg, Judy Korin and Amy Redford. Executive producers are Amer, Stevens, Geralyn White Dreyfous, Nina and David Fialkow, Lyn Davis Lear, Vijay Vaidyanathan and Jamie Wolf. Fremantle will distribute the series internationally.

The Lincoln Project premieres Friday, October 7 on Showtime at 8 p.m. ET/PT. All five episodes will become available on demand and on Showtime streaming platforms on that date as well.
