HBO unveiled a season-six trailer for its presidential original series Veep, premiering April 16.

In the last season, things ended terribly for Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), with Meyer getting kicked out of the White House and her passionate staffers all going off to follow other callings.

In the trailer, a post-presidential Selina Meyer is still commanding the lead, and she will still have to struggle with a lot of the same image issues that dogged her as vice president and president. She will also still be encircled by the same cast of loyal friends and bitter enemies, including Amy (Anna Chlumsky), Mike (Matt Walsh), Gary (Tony Hale), Jonah (Timothy Simons), and Ben (Kevin Dunn).

In one scene, Selina pledges to destroy Congressman Jonah Ryan “so creatively that she’ll get a Kennedy Centers Honor for it.”

According to THR, showrunner David Mandel told attendees at SXSW in Austin on Monday that the sixth season of Veep was drafted almost entirely in June 2016, months before the election. And even if Hillary Clinton had won, this version of season six would still exist.

“There are the occasional jokes, but we’re not SNL, and if we try and make a joke about Trump on Veep it will be old by the time it airs,” said Mandel at SXSW, the magazine reported. “For us, tragedy plus time equals comedy.”

Veep season 6 premieres on HBO on April 16.
