Scripps Networks Interactive is the latest to join the TV Everywhere movement, now offering up live-streaming of channels including HGTV and Food Network.
Partnering with OTT platform provider Anvato and its Media Content Platform, each channel can now offer live-streaming for authenticated viewers and dynamic ad insertion for advertisers on the channels’ websites, iOS and Android apps.
Scripps’ portfolio, which includes HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, and DIY Network, is focusing on the dynamic ads for the TV Everywhere initiative, where the whole portfolio of networks or only one or two can insert a local, regional or more updated ad in later nonlinear broadcasts of popular shows.
Viewers can find each live-stream on the networks’ new live sites: Food Network, for example, offers up its daytime and primetime cooking shows and competitions throughout the day.

“Anvato has greatly simplified the process of deploying our TV brands to screens anywhere and everywhere, and helped us optimize advertisements with dynamic ad insertion of relevant ads for each authenticated user,” said Alix Baudin, SVP and GM digital product and operations at Scripps Networks Interactive, in a statement.
TV Everywhere partner Anvato has also worked with TV brands such as NBCUniversal, Media General, Univision and CBS Local Media.
