“When can you take a break?” Schitt’s Creek’s David Rose (Dan Levy) asks Stevie Bud (Emily Hampshire) as she aggressively cleans a landline phone with Lysol disinfecting wipes.
That’s when the yellow gloves come off, and Stevie asks him to “grab that spray over there,” in a custom spot where Pop TV and Lysol partnered on branded content that takes place in a flea-bitten motel not up to their usual standards.
“The show’s motel setting was the perfect backdrop to highlight how the disinfectant spray is the must-have product to sanitize and disinfect areas, especially during the critical cold and flu season,” Pop CMO Kent Rees said in a statement.
Now in its fourth season, the series stars Eugene Levy, Dan’s famous dad, as a wealthy video magnate who goes broke. He and his wife Moira (Catherine O’Hara), and their twenty-something children David and Alexis (Annie Murphy) have no choice but to move to a backwoods town he once bought as a joke, as they face their humiliating hardship and figure out what it means to be a family.
