A mission to change the past to save humanity was a failure, so now Josh Futterman (Josh Hutcherson, The Hunger Games), Tiger (Eliza Coupe) and Wolf (Derek Wilson) find themselves in the year 2162 in season two of Hulu’s sci-fi comedy Future Man.

In this timeline, Stu Camillo (Haley Joel Osment) has created the cure that leads to a disease-immune super-race that the time-traveling crew was trying to stop, but in lieu of that is now launching a plan to relocate humanity to Mars. Meanwhile, a shadowy organized called Pointed Circle wants to recruit Josh to take Stu down, but—like many things in the show—it’s unclear who the good guys actually are.

As Wolf acclimates to the strange customs of this time, Tiger struggles with her biotic identity and searches for an escape, and Josh unites the team in an epic plan to save the world, the group’s time-traveling catches up to them, and they must reckon withwhat to do next as they try to “un-f*ck” the timeline.

The trailer weaves together quick cuts of some of the over-the-top ridiculousness that blends science fiction with pop culture and time-traveling tropes.

The series is created, written and executive produced by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir (Sausage Party, Preacher) and executive produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Matt Tolmach, James Weaver and Ben Karlin.

Future Man premieres January 11 on Hulu.
