Comedy Central has promoted executive Rob O’Neill to SVP of programming and promotion strategy, set to oversee creation and branding of original series.
David Bernath, EVP of programming and multiplatform strategy made the announcement Monday, adding:
“Rob is the consummate pro whose passion and spirit of innovation continue to drive change and success at Comedy Central. His creative thinking and strategic approach to programming and promoting our content ensures that Comedy Central will be with our fans everywhere and every time they’re ready for a laugh.”
In his new position at the network, O’Neill will be responsible for the branding and promotion of new series and events, including the Comedy Central Roast and Night of Too Many Stars benefit, across multiple platforms.
O’Neill has been with Comedy Central since 2013, when he came to the network as VP of programming and promotion strategy.
