Richard Eng has joined Los Angeles-based branding agency Troika as creative director.
In his new role, Eng will oversee, write and craft multi-platform campaigns for brands across on-air, digital, outdoor and social channels.
Over the course of his career, Eng has worked for firms such as Manhattan Transfer, Digital Kitchen and Loyalkaspar and networks such as ViacomCBS’ Nick at Night and most recently, Disney-owned Freeform where he worked on the network’s pro-social campaign for Women’s Month in March.
Other projects on which Eng has worked include the launch of History Channel International; The CW’s “Dare to Defy” brand campaign, for which he wrote the tagline; and repositioning the Peabody Awards to be more than just an awards-show organization.
“It all starts with being real,” said Eng, whose skills include branding and visual identity. He’s also a hands-on writer who has a great deal of experience creating multi-platform campaigns.
In his new role, he will help Troika continue to expand its slate of offerings to consumers and business-to-business activations as well as entertainment brands.
